Night Guards
As we age we start to see signs of wear in our teeth. Often even younger patients or patients in high stress periods of life have slight to moderate or even sever signs of wear on their teeth.
Often the simplest solution to prevent further damage is to have a night guard appliance fabricated. Many patient are unaware of their habit as it occurs at night when they are sleeping or often it occurs when we are focused at work in front of the computer or other tasks involving a high level of focus.
Grinders and clenchers:
For patients with Para-functional habits such as grinding or clenching, an analysis of the teeth is done and the most appropriate appliance is fabricated to protect the teeth. The appliance is typically worn at night.
TMJ Patients
A similar analysis is done for patients with TMJ (Temporomandibular Joint Disorders) based on the patients symptoms. If you are diagnosed with TMJ, a more through evaluation is done with casts of our patients mouth that are placed on a machine that replicates the jaws function. This enables us to analyze and design the best appliance for you.
Our night guards are fully customized for each individual patient and are completely adjustable once they have be fit to our patients’ mouth. This is to ensure maximum comfort and functionality. These are truly an outrageous treatment option for clenchers grinders and TMJ patients.
