A healthy smile speaks volumes about who we are

Dr. Sellinger has been named by the Consumers' Research Council of America as "America's top dentist" three years in a row. In addition to this recognition in excellence for his reconstructive dentistry skills and care of his patients, he received the Basil Abrams Quintessence Award in Restorative Dentistry and the Leonard Abrams, DDS Prize in Dental Anatomy and Occlusion. When not in private practice, Dr. Sellinger teaches Prosthodontics at NYU College of Dentistry and lectures on aesthetic dentistry, including porcelain veneers and bonding to achieve personalized smiles along with "Modern Conveniences in Dentistry".

Pursuing a Passion

Dr. Sellinger's dedication to dentistry began in 1999 and has grown exponentially with time. New technologies have brought dentistry to the forefront of healthcare, while educating the pubic on oral health and smile beauty. Dr.Sellinger's patients are smarter and come to see him loaded with knowledge from the internet and media which helps them to make wiser decisions with regard to their oral health.

Dr. Sellinger has been immersed in evolving dental technology from the beginning -- from pioneering an effective whitening system for all tooth types, to implementing CAD/CAM technology to craft porcelain restorations for same day insertion. Innovation and technology have always been his passions, especially when it comes to benefiting his patients.Stronger more effective ways to repair or replace missing teeth have evolved and we are finally at a place where technology has met reality.

Specialty in Prosthodontics

A Prosthodontist is one of nine specialties recognized by the American Dental Association. As a Prosthodontist Dr. Sellinger is able to diagnose and treatment plan more complex mouth issues. The specialty focuses on replacement of one or more broken or missing teeth using implants, crowns, veneers, bridges, partial dentures or full dentures.

A Glimpse into the Person

Dr. Sellinger and his wife, Helyce, have a daughter Logan and a son named Asher. Dr. Sellinger played ice hockey growing up traveling all over the country to games. He now enjoys road cycling and running. Before Logan was born he entered into his first Biathlon, the next race was to welcome Asher. Dr. Sellinger is devoted to his growing family, his greatest pleasure is spending time with Helyce and Logan and Asher.
